The name of the Piast Hotel was inspired by an important figure for the Opole region, Jan II the Good. It is his profile that appears on our logo. He became famous for unifying the Opole region, granting privileges to the peasant population and contributing to the flourishing of Upper Silesia. This historic building was completely restored in 1996.
